NHCCM Elections Held At Annual Meeting

At the Annual Meeting on May 20th the membership held elections for the NHCCM Board. The newly elected Board then voted on Officers at the June 17 meeting. They are as follows:

Top Ten Reasons Why I Am Grateful To Have Attended Two Fabulous Conferences

Having recently participated in the ACM-NE Spring Conference in Providence, R.I., and the Media Reform Conference in Minneapolis, I decided to write a blurb for this newsletter and share my thoughts and experiences. As I deliberated the many ways I might approach that task, I started to become rather sentimental about our mutual cause, the many new people I have met, and those that have impacted my life as a result of my activities in the world of PEG Access. Therefore, my sentiments may become obvious as I present to you my top ten reasons why I am grateful to have attended these two conferences.

I'm not just the PEG Access Coordinator - I am a user, too. I know what you are thinking, but the word user in my case means that I "use" people. I'm not afraid to admit that I can't do it all, or that I don't know it all. After all, I have family and friends that always tell me that. That's why I reach out to other PEG stations and ask for help.
