Four Great Places To Eat In Chi Town With Your FamilyPosted on: December 1, 2018, by : dr8sw
Would you have guessed that there are over 8500 restaurants in The Windy City? I have shown you quite a few major places of interest in Chicago, and now it’s time to talk about where you might want to get a bite to eat. Here are some of the top restaurants in Chicago, and I think you are going to love these examples of a taste of Chi Town.
Who would have thought that the top place to get a bite to eat in Chicago is a a barbecue joint. The place is called Smoque BBQ, and the picture of the brisket looks better than some of what I’ve seen in Texas. It literally just made my mouth water. The address is 3800 North Pulaski Road, and well, get this. You can order up Texas sausage, and you can also order up St Louis ribs. Someone hold me up because this place has knocked me backwards.
Smoque BBQ would definitely be a restaurant I would like to try. But there are so many choices that you are bound to find a lot more to check out, too. Take for instance this next top dining establishment, which is Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe. The pictures of the pancakes and breakfast items served up at this restaurant will make your mouth water, too. The location is 130 East Randolph Street. It is in the Millennium Park area, and one of the menu favorites is signature berry bliss.
I had to mention this next pick, too, even though we’re back in the field of barbecue restaurants. It’s Green Street Smoked Meats, which definitely sounds like an interesting place to visit. The location is 112 North Green Street, and the restaurant is known for its brisket, burnt ends, frito pie, hot links, chicken legs and more. The broccoli salad also makes the menu highlights.
If you’re looking for a delicious steak, you might want to make Steak 48 your stop. Located at 615 North Wabash Avenue, Steak 48 is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. The caramel cake as a dessert item makes the menu favorites, too. Other popular menu items include braised pork belly, sugar snap peas, Rhode Island calamari and a meatball appetizer.
All of those restaurants sound lovely, don’t you think? You and yours are going to be eating good in Chicago. But come back for more great selections because I’ve got more wonderful dining establishments in The Windy City to tell you about.
